Duterte is in panic -Trillanes

Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Sunday expressed a sense of cocky confidence that he had hit President Rodrigo Duterte right on a soft spot, plunging the chief executive into a state of panic.
"Kapag natatamaan mo na siya, ganyan na siya eh ... ibig sabihin noon, tinatamaan ko na siya," Trillanes told DzBB when asked to comment on Duterte calling him a "political ISIS."
Trillanes has implicated the President's son Paolo and son-in-law Manases Carpio in the P6.4-billion shabu shipment that easily slipped past the Bureau of Customs (BOC) from China last May.
In an impromptu speech at a birthday party in Davao City,  Duterte called Trillanes a "political ISIS" who spread "garbage" accusations that are baseless.
Also, Trillanes said that he doesn't care about the "ISIS tag" for as long as he is doing his job.
"So, sa akin dito importante e ginagawa ko dito yung aking trabaho sa isang demokrasya being a member of the opposition, kailangan marinig ng taongbayan kung ano 'yung mga kalabisan at anomalya sa kanyang administrasyon."
Trillanes insisted that he has evidence to prove that the younger Duterte and Carpio were part of the "Davao group" –identified in the testimony of Customs "fixer" Mark Taguba –that facilitated the billion-peso shabu shipment that was seized last May.
"Ako, sinasabi ko ah, dalhin niya 'yung dalawa na 'yon at ibubulaga ko sa kanila 'yung ebidensiya laban sa kanila," Trillanes said, reiterating his call to summon Paolo and Manases over to the continuation of the Senate inquiry on the Customs anomaly.
"So talagang derecho sila, 'yung finger prints nila diyan, kalat 'yan sa droga na 'yan," he added.
The senator also clarified that the accusations against Paolo and Manases, the husband of Davao City Mayor Inday Sarah Duterte, did not come directly from him.
"Those are not my allegations but information extracted from [Senator Richard] Gordon's witnesses during the [Senate inquiry]," he said.
Trillanes' efforts to implicate Paolo and Manases during the blue ribbon committee's sixth hearing on the shabu anomaly bust into heated argument with panel chair Gordon.
Trillanes  labeled the panel as "committee de abswelto" for seemingly showing bias to absolve Paolo and Manases. —LBG, GMA News
